CVIL (Cardiovascular Equipment Replacement)
Legacy Engineering Group worked with Johns Hopkins Hospital on the CVIL Bundle Design Project to provide the mechanical and electrical design and construction administration services associated with the upgrade of five (5) individual Hybrid Operating Rooms on the 5th floor of the Sheikh Zayed Tower on the Johns Hopkins Hospital campus. The project consisted of the replacement of the Imaging equipment used for Cardiovascular procedures in each of the five (5) rooms and required mechanical and electrical upgrades to support the room functions. The construction of these projects was phased sequentially with each project developed as a stand alone design and construction project. Construction administration services included attendance at OAC meetings, review of MEP submittal data and project above ceiling and final punch outs for each Hybrid OR.
